Yep, It's Me
Whew - the last month has come and gone so quickly! But alas - Jason and I are still alive and kickin' it in our new apartment, adjusting to and thoroughly enjoy enjoying married life together. We had a fabulous honeymoon in Blue Ridge, Georgia at a cabin owned by a good friend of the family: hiking up to waterfalls, learning to grill out, and sitting on the back porch sipping juice and listening to the sound of birds and the creaking of our rocking chairs. On our way home, we cruised through Berea, KY so I could show Jason around my alma mater, Berea College. Now we're back at work, enjoying the blessing of sharing one car (it really IS a blessing - so many fun memories and heartfelt moments!), sharing chores and groceries, pouring out grace and have grace poured out on ourselves as we are learning how to become what we have been declared to be in God's grace - an excellent wife and an exemplary husband.

Some of you in the Blogosphere may have already read the blogs of my two former roomies -but roomies in my heart forever- Lisa and Jen covering the event of our wedding (if not, you can link over by clicking on their names -they got some great shots). They are a blessing and a Godsend, especially throughout the tornado known as "wedding." Ladies- you are two of the best friends a girl could ever ask for. Thank you for your patience, your wisdom, and your Aquanet... my life will never be the same because of you both.
The wedding was a culmination of many friends and family working together to help us exalt Christ in our love and union with each other. From the cake decorating to the reception setup/breakdown/hosting - there are so many people to thank. We are so grateful to our Father and the many people He has blessed us with in our lives... and if you are reading, thank you thank you thank you!!**Photo by David Michael
There's a lot more I could say and write about, but I guess it will have to wait for another time. I hope to drop an occasional blog - we'll see how time and life permits. In the meantime, we covet your prayers and -if you wish -we'd be delighted to know how we can pray for you as well. Drop us a line at donnamshaw@gmail.com and let us know how you are doing... and thanks for reading!

Gorgeous -- your pictures are some of the best I've seen. You two are fantastic advertising for David Michael... I LOVE his photos on here!!! Jen and Lisa have great pictures, too. But then again, Mrs. Shaw, you would have been beautiful in a Polaroid... Congrats again!
I agree with Catherine -gorgeous photos -the last one should be on a wedding greeting card...congratulations..God Bless!
I love you, D. Cherishing the moments as they come after taking a long stroll down memory lane (went back through our three blogs...and old posts). I'm so thankful the Lord brought you and Jason together and cannot wait to see what He has in store for you as husband and wife.
Looking ahead and over the horizon...to see God's continued faithfulness in fulfilling those beloved words in John 17:3!
