Ramblings of a seminary student musing over life and the amazing love of Christ.

Whatever.

I have been putting off blogging for a few weeks ... it's a weird thing, since I have been a faithful blogger for almost three years now. I think that as more of my friends are getting online and joining the blogosphere, I feel the rising pressure to post more thoughtful, witty, and visually pleasing blogs. But honestly, I am just going to go back to regular old blogging to update friends and loved ones on life. I began blogging to keep friends/family updated on my life, so I may regress back to that for a while.

Classes are back in full swing, and while I am looking forward to attending lectures I already feel behind in reading and assignments. With so many other things on my mind right now, school really seems like a lower priority (ironic, since I am in a financial pinch because of PAYING for these classes). I am taking a biblical counseling class and introduction to Old Testament - both look to be really great classes and very edifying.

On a more personal note, I am getting over a bout of bronchitis - I'm still coughing some, but I found out today that my lungs are finally clear and that the worst is over (YAY).

Wedding plans are on their way - we have got a lot of the big stuff done, though there is still quite a bit to do. Please pray for us as we seek the Lord in what we should plan for and what we can do without, as our budget is small but sufficient. Also, please pray for us as we continue in premarital counseling and learning how much we enjoy each other every day - pray that we would seek to please and glorify God in our relationship as well as investing in others around us who we love and value.

That's enough for now. Take care all - feel free to comment and let me know how things are going in your neck of the woods!

It seems like a lot of students are feeling overwhelmed about classes. I think within a few weeks things will be fine...I hope. I'm glad to hear the wedding plans are going alright. Thanks for the post.

No doubt! I dropped back to nine hours this semester and I still feel like I'm gonna have to work like a strong drafthorse in order to keep from getting too far behind schedule. 9 papers among 3 classes is wrong. 13 books among 3 classes is ridiculous.

Ah, Donna: I love how all your posts are so fun and real-to-life. They make me think of "The Adventures of Pete and Pete" episodes.

(SIGH) It's good to hear from you again...
