Things I've Learned in the Last 24 Hours
1) Solicitation calls can and will be made to your cell phone... grr.
2) I can now make custom address labels on Microsoft Word and download free fonts online.
3) The Kinkos on Shelbyville employs a sweet elderly man who has a uncanny resemblance to Yoda.
4) Never drink two servings of green tea in any form after 4pm or thus forego a good night's rest.
5) I love my roommates - they are so encouraging and comfortable.
6) Bananas are now on sale at Wal-Mart for 38 cents/pound.
7) General Foods manages much of the banana industry coming out of Central America, and one of the salesman at my dealership was part of formulating their present banana importation procedures while helping to disable a labor strike in the 1970s.
8) I love my husband-to-be, Jason Shaw... he works so hard and I respect his leadership, deep convictions, and his attentiveness and commitment in our relationship even though he is really really busy.
9) Rush Limbaugh finds settlement in painkiller fraud case... (my dad's a fan)
10) My younger brother and his wife are coming in this weekend!! YAY!!
11) Make sure to take a GOOD look at your clip art pics before you post them on your blog... I almost embarassed myself by posting a subtly less-than-innocent pic - yikes!!
12) Leftover burrito from Monday is NOT suitable for consumption on Friday night.

13) A cup of chai with a shot of espresso in it is ... AMAZING!!!
Donna, you have blessed me today. I enjoyed smelling the wafting scent of warm, oatmeal-raisin cookies float so temptingly into my bedroom!
I pray you have a fabulous time catching up w/ your bro and his wife this weekend.
I love you!
Christine - my hot fiance' Starbucks barista informed me that the official name for that drink is a "dirty chai"... it sounds good, except for the chai part. :)
Jen - I'm so sorry you can't partake in the oatmeal raisin goodness :( But you have to admit, fresh baked from scratch cookies are better than air fresheners!
14) The J.B. Speed Art Museum here in Lville has in its possession one original Rembrandt and one Monet... sooo cool!!
I liked the part where you said you loved your roommates. I heard they are kind of looney (especially the one who has a thing for Extra's green-apple gum scratch n' sniff advertisetments), so that is saying a lot.
BTW, thanks for the heads up...I did not realize that Yoda was clocking hours at Kinkos. Does he autograph flipflops, too?
*tsk tsk* Silly girl, Lisa - don't be rediculous.
He signed my fanny pack.
