Good Music + Good Coffee = Good Times

I know, I know - I have been very inconsistent in my blogging lately. I think I've got a few too many irons in the fire: school (eh..), work, preparing music for the International Student Conference, international student ministry, maintaining relationships, goofing off (see for yourself on Lisa's blog )...

Friday night I spent the evening at Sunergos Coffee , a great little local coffee shop, and watched Chad Lewis, Bradley Cochran, and Jason Shaw perform some original works as well as a few praise songs at the end to wrap up. The place was packed, and the fellas did a great job - nothing beats live music by local artists, especially when you know them.

Note: The superimposed picture in this entry is meant to be amusing and nothing more. I did it as a joke, hoping that no one will think the less of me because of my weird humor. My roommates thought it was funny.

Anyway, here are the picture highlights. I promise to try to find something to actually write on my next blog. :) Enjoy the pictures and support local artists!

The trio (l-r): Chad, Jason, and Bradley

Jason

Chad

Bradley (a.k.a. "B-diddy")

Mamiko, Jason, and I chillin' on some sacks of coffee beans

Jen and Joey keepin' it real

The place is packed out!

A little post-show fun

I love your photoshop stuff - pure hilarity. And by the way, I have a picture of you and Piperball Z that I was thinking you could just save from my blog, but I actually have a few more that you and Jen may want, (i.e. Jen and a giant coffee mug) so nevermind I'll just send you those.

You better, Lindsay! I figured everyone else was at Java supporting Nikki at her last show in Kentucky - I wanted to go see Nikki, but the fact that Jason was playing sort of enticed me to stay at Sunergos all night... those blasted relationships. ;) All right, who am I kidding? But seriously, Lindsay - you really have to join us next time!

You didn't think you could post a picture like THAT and actually get away with it, did ya? Hehehe...now there's a boy band if I ever saw one...smile.

This sure proves one thing beyond a reasonable doubt...you have entirely TOO much time on your hands! (tsk, tsk...this is what happens when Jen and I are not around to protect you from yourself)

You're so right, Lisa -- O wretched one that I am! Who will save me from this body of death? Thanks be to... God - through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Had you going, didn't I? :)

Thanks for being vessels of exhortation and grace.

blasted relationships. Yeah. I was going to say "the only thing you can't get at Wal-mart," but then I just remembered that one of my classmates last year told me that he met his wife at Wal-Mart. So nevermind. ROLLBACK
