Completing the Thought Because I'm Impulsive

Ah, everyone knows that I can't resist anything that hints at being one of those cheesy surveys that gets passed around... I love them! The dear Nikki Daniel posted this one on her site. I liked her answers so much that I figured it couldn't hurt to share in the fun. Since hubby's away at the Desiring God conference, I have some extra time to kill. Here goes...

Complete the Thought:

Never again in my life: will I doubt my salvation

When I was five: I got car sick a lot.... wait, I STILL do. Dang it.

High School was: a series of inside jokes, band camp memories, first "gigs" on the guitar and attempts at songwriting, insecurities, questions, going to concerts, and homemade corduroy pants

I will never forget: the night I met my husband, Jason (what a hottie!)

I once met: Black Eyed Sceva, my favorite band in high school

There’s this girl I know who: loves turkey and cheese rollups (you KNOW who you are!)

By noon I’m usually: thinking about what I'm going to cook for dinner

Last night I: watched part of Mulan while packing a lunch for Jason and Joey on their way to Minneapolis

Next time I go to church: I need to remember to take overdue thank you cards to people

What worries me most is: my ablity to forget what is true and meditate on lies of my own heart

When I turn my head right, I see: Lisa's plants, mine and Jason's guitars, and the front door to our apartment

When I turn my head left, I see: a bookshelf, complete with the Calvin and Hobbes series, hymnals, textbooks, and one plant of Lisa's that is not going to survive until January when she gets back (sorry, Leese)

You know I’m lying when: I avoid eye contact and I start to mumble... Of course, I do this when I'm feeling insecure too... you can tell the difference because if I'm lying I usually have to confess it, and if I'm insecure I just stay quiet

If I was a character written by Shakespeare I'd: probably be a lot more exciting

By this time, next year: I hope to be more in love with my husband, a greater friend and servant to those around me, a better cook, a diligent student, possess a greater understanding and application of the truth of the gospel in every aspect of my life

A better name for me would be: Kachucamunga-fandagio-hiccapoki... or Dot

I have a hard time understanding: how people can take a guy seriously who claims to be Jesus

If I ever go back to school I’ll: try harder to get things done on time

You know I like you if: I mention you on my blog :)

Three people who bore me are: hmm.... this is hard. I'm easily entertained, so there are few people who actually bore me. Three people whose voices I struggle to listen to for long periods of time (though I respect them): David Powlison, John Piper, and Beth Moore

Take my advice, NEVER: keep leftovers in the fridge that you didn't like them the first time around. You will just be digging them out looong after they have started to grow hair.

My ideal breakfast is: biscuits and gravy, eggs, and bacon... or pancakes and sausage... or breakfast burritos... or french toast and fried apples with eggs.... oh man, what is life without breakfast??

A song I love, but do not have is: any song by Jack Johnson

If you visit my hometown, I suggest: stopping by the Laker's drive in and getting a peanut butter milkshake or banana split (you can't miss it - the entirety of Stephensburg is on one road)

Why won’t anyone: comment on this blog entry?

If you spend the night at my house, DO: expect to be asked a million times if you are hungry or want some tea

The world could do without: money-hungry televangelists

I’d rather lick the belly of a cockroach than: ...I honestly can't think of something I would want to do less than that

My favorite blonde is: the Huested girls- Lydia, Emily, and Hannah (our flowergirls)... or maybe their mom, Aleasha

Paperclips are more useful than: fruitcake - who the HECK eats that stuff?

San Diego means: Saint Diego, originally St. Didacus (I'm such a nerd, I looked this up)
